Artists & Ensembles
Artists and Ensembles come to New Performing Arts from all over the United
States and the world, as well as from Kentucky itself. Over
the years, three different kinds of artists have performed
most of our programs:

EMERGING PROFESSIONALS – talented and successful artists,
deeply committed to the mission of building new audiences for
the future, including nationally touring musicians and younger
members
of major symphony orchestras in Chicago, Cleveland, France,
Spain, Brazil, etc.

CONSERVATORY
PROJECT – advanced graduate student ensembles from the
major professional schools of music: Eastman, Oberlin, New
England, New World Symphony; who come to Kentucky for
residency training and intensive practical experience.

ARTISTS FROM KENTUCKY – the backbone of NPA programs in
dance, theater and cultural programming,
as well as music, these are artists with years of
experience relating their work to the unique Kentucky
arts curriculum |
