Staff
Michele Wogaman, Executive and Program Director –
joined the NPA staff in 1995 as Program Director, becoming
Executive Director as well in 1998. During that time NPA has
deepened its specialization both in classical music and rural
program delivery, as well as expanding programming into new
disciplines and program formats. She is a native of northern
Minnesota, born and raised near the Canadian border in the
most rural portion of that state. She attended Moorhead State
University for a BA in Sociology, receiving an MA in that
field from the New School for Social Research in NYC in 1990.
An avocational but ardent musician, Michele has been
active as a chorus member, board member and chair, education
director, and alto soloist with the Louisville Bach Society.
